I'm worried about family money problems

Letter from Isabel, aged 13

My mum and dad are always arguing about money problems my family have. I am 13 and I am worried by it all the time, I don't want them to have those problems and I don't know what to do. We might have to move back home but then we have no home there either and this is why they argue. I have friends here and want to stay.

Money problems within families cause a lot of strain and stress. This is made even harder when families move to a new country like Spain. Isabel needed someone to talk to in private about what he was feeling. His parents were going through a difficult period and sometimes it helps just to get some support and advice from someone else.

Our 1-2-1 online support service lets you have a private conversation with a dedicated counsellor about any topic you like.
